Easter Sunday: History and Significance

Easter is a Sunday, which is mainly celebrated by Christians as the Resurrection day of Jesus Christ third day after his crucifixion. The day of crucifixion is known as Good Friday, which is also a public Holiday. Easter will be celebrated on April 20 this year.

Easter Significance

As I said above, Easter is celebrated as the resurrection day of Jesus Christ. Jesus was crucified by Pontius Pilate. Easter is celebrate especially by Christians all over the world to welcome Jesus back to life. The day has different meanings for different people.
